The Book House is holding a rally this Tuesday, May 7 at 6:00 pm to save the historic Gothic Revival house that has been threatened with demolition this summer. Please come show your support for this rare structure that has stood on Manchester Road since the Civil War and for the independent book store that has been housed here for over 27 years. I lived in Webster Groves in the early 90's and bought many books from this store...I loved going in the old cottage. So much history being lost for pursuit of the almighty dollar.
